City: Qingyang

Qingyang No. 2 Middle School is located in Xifeng county of Qingyang city in Gansu province. There are about two and a half million people in Qingyang - a small city by Chinese standards. Many of these people are farmers. The school was founded in 1975 and now there are currently about 3000 students. The international department of the school has about 350 students. Foreign teachers at the school have their own office with a desk and computer each. They also have their own apartment in the teachers building which is a five minute walk from the school. The apartments are family sized apartments with 2 bedrooms, an office, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with washing machine, internet access, and a large living room with TV.
