Introduction

Wenzhou Vocational & Technical College , founded with the authorization of the State Ministry of Education in 1999, is a full-time public college. The college has been recognized as "the Council President Institution of Zhejiang Provincial Higher Vocational Education Research Institute" and "an Outstanding Institute of National Vocational Education". The campus is located in the beautiful Wenzhou University Town, covering an area of 33.3 hectare with the building area of 200,000 square meters.

With qualified teaching staff, the college now has 407 full-time teachers, including 130 teachers with senior professional titles and 171 teachers with double-qualification titles.

It offers 33 specialties in the 8 departments of Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Humanities, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Architectural Engineering and Light Industry. There are over 7,000 full-time students and 6,000 students of adult junior and senior colleges studying in our college.

The college, taking the initiative in meeting the requirements of society, aiming at cooperating with local economy and realizing win-win with local enterprises, has set up 20 guiding committees of experts, in which 128 off-campus experts are involved as their chairmen or members. Meanwhile, 198 off-campus practical bases have been built in many well-known enterprises, including Chint, Delix and Aokang. Relying on industrial associations, the College has founded "Technical Faculty of China Shoe City", "Wenzhou Garment Faculty" and " Wenzhou Light Industry Faculty". In addition, "Aokang Class", "Chint Class" and "Delix Class" are established for the job-oriented training of specialized technicians.
