Located in the northwestern part of Zhengzhou, Leed Bi-Lingual Middle School was built in 2001. It serves nearly 1500 junior middle schools students (grades one, two and three) and employs almost 140 teachers. Foreign teachers have been teaching at this school for the past seven years. Also, this is a private, boarding school. The vast majority of students live in dormitories on campus. Many teachers also live on campus as well.
Most of the classrooms and offices are located in one central teaching building. Each classroom is equipped with a computer, projector and screen, speakers, and a television.
Acceptable accommodations are provided for teachers on the campus of the school. Though lacking a kitchen and internet access, the apartments are each equipped with a heater/air-conditioner, refrigerator and washing machine. Many restaurants, shops and banks are located well within walking distance of the campus. In the past, the school has provided teachers with cell phones and bicycles upon arrival.
